  • Recognised by the University of Jordan's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre with a certificate of appreciation and a university shield on 1 September 2021.
  • Represented the team on Jordanian television to present the application after the award.

Competed in the 2018 and 2019 editions of the JU Competitive Programming Contest, earning the Extreme Programmers award and a First to Solve Problem A award in 2019.

  • Solved algorithmic problems in C++ under ICPC rules: three contestants to a team, one shared computer, five hours, penalty time for wrong submissions.

Placed 4th and took the Best Design and Clean Sheet awards with a self-built firefighting robot, as team Electrone X.

  • Finished 4th overall in the IEEE RAS Portal: FireFighting competition, held on 29 June 2019 at the University of Jordan.
  • Won the Best Design Award for the mechanical design of the robot, and the Clean Sheet Award for completing the runs without faults.
  • Competed as team Electrone X with my colleague Abdullah Abu Dabaseh, each of us building and running a robot of our own design.
  • Built the robots from scratch on a custom four-wheel chassis, with microcontroller-driven motors and a servo, a motor-driven fan to put out the flame, and laser-cut acrylic and 3D-printed parts.
  • Certificates signed by Prof. Lutfi Al-Sharif, IEEE RAS Jordan Chapter Chairman, and Omar Turkmani, IEEE JU RAS Chairman.
  • Placed 3rd with the same colleague in the previous Portal: Firefighting competition, held in October 2018.

  • Placed 3rd with my colleague Abdullah Abu Dabaseh, competing on 6 October 2018 at the University of Jordan.
  • Teams sent self-built robots through a plywood maze arena to reach a flame and extinguish it, with judges following each run around the arena.
  • Organised by the IEEE RAS chapter of the University of Jordan Student Branch, with the event carrying IEEE Day branding.
  • Returned the following year for IEEE RAS Portal: FireFighting I in June 2019, where we finished 4th and won the Best Design and Clean Sheet awards.
