Portal: Firefighting Competition
About This Competition
Portal: Firefighting is the IEEE RAS robotics competition run by the IEEE RAS chapter at the University of Jordan Student Branch, where teams build their own robots and send them through a maze arena to find and put out a flame. Competing with my colleague Abdullah Abu Dabaseh, we placed 3rd in this edition, held on 6 October 2018. We entered again the following year, in IEEE RAS Portal: FireFighting I in June 2019, and finished 4th while taking the Best Design and Clean Sheet awards.
